What to Expect as a Patient at Wellness Culture

Is this clinic insurance-based?

No. Wellness Culture operates on a direct-pay model allowing faster care, transparent pricing, and no insurance delays. Payment is due at the time of service and ongoing care will be set up as recurring payments.

What happens after I book my first appointment?

You’ll complete intake forms and health history before your visit. During the appointment we review symptoms, history, and determine whether labs or treatment are appropriate before starting any therapy.

Do I receive medication at the first visit?

Not always. Many treatments require labs first so therapy is appropriate and safe. The first visit is focused on evaluation and planning.

How are prescriptions handled?

Prescriptions are sent to partner pharmacies after evaluation and when clinically appropriate. Ongoing refills depend on follow-ups and recommended monitoring.

How often are follow-ups required?

Follow-ups are more frequent at the beginning while treatment is adjusted, then spaced out once symptoms and labs are stable.

What if I miss a follow-up or labs?

Treatment may be paused until monitoring is updated. Ongoing care requires periodic reassessment to ensure therapy remains appropriate.

Can I message the clinic anytime for medical questions?

Portal messaging can be used for brief questions and clarifications. New concerns, new symptoms, or treatment changes usually require an appointment so they can be addressed properly. Messages are answered during regular clinic operating times and are not intended for urgent concerns.

Do you manage medications prescribed by other providers?

No. We manage treatments that are prescribed through our clinic. For medications from other providers, you should follow up with the prescribing clinician.

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments require advance notice to reschedule. Late cancellations or missed visits may incur a fee so appointment times remain available for other patients.

Can I transfer my care if I move?

Yes — records can be provided upon request, and telemedicine may still be available depending on location and regulations. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for preparing and releasing records.

What if treatment is not right for me?

Not every person is a candidate for therapy. If treatment is not appropriate, recommendations or next steps will be discussed.

What is your refund policy?

Medications and prescriptions cannot be refunded once ordered or dispensed. For other purchases or services, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the provider’s discretion and may be subject to a service fee.
